Roger Federer And Serena Williams To Meet on Court For The first time At The Hopman Cup On Tuesday In Perth.

The Swiss and USA legends would be playing for the first time alongside Belinda Bencic and Frances Tiafoe in the men’s and women’s singles before meeting in the mixed doubles. Federer and Williams who are both 37, have won a combined 43 Grand slam titles in their outstanding careers. The match has been described as the most anticipated contest involving a male and female player since the “Battle of the Sexes” in 1973,when 39-time Grand slam champion Billie Jean King beat former men’s World number one Bobby Riggs in straight sets.

Roger Federer is currently third in men’s ATP rankings with 7480 points while Serena Williams is 16th on Women’s ATP rankings with 2976 points.
